08.10. Happy Birthday, Kuura!

Our madcap Kuura turns three years today.  It's amazing how time flies.  It feels like Kuura just got here.  Kuura is still the same sweet hurricane as she was three years ago and the power that makes her spin shows no signs of tailing away.  Kuura's intense temper has made agility a real challenge, because instead of using her bursting energy to jump and climb the obstacles she often almost hysterically barks at Pasi and also bites his trousers at times.  It's hard to understand that this very same dog is doing an absolutely magnificent work in obedience.  Kuura, our lovely Lady Grey, never stops surprising us.

Meidän rasavilli Kuura täyttää tänään kolme vuotta.  Ihmeellistä miten aika rientää.  Tuntuu kuin Kuura olisi juuri tullut.  Kuura on edelleen se sama ihana pyörremyrsky kuin kolme vuotta sitten ja pyörre ei näytä laantuvan.  Kuuran kiihkeä luonne on tehnyt agilitysta todellisen haasteen, sen sijaan, että se hyppäisi ja kiipeäisi esteitä se melko usein hysteerisesti haukkuu Pasille ja puree joskus housun lahjetta.  On vaikeaa uskoa, että tämä sama koira tekee aivan mahtavaa työtä tottelevaisuudessa.  Kuura, meidän ihana Lady Grey, ei koskaan lakkaa hämmästyttämästä meitä.
