Wonderland / Satumaa

We have enjoyed an incredibly beautiful winter scenery for quite some time.  It's just sad to see it all vanish, because this week we're experiencing really mild weather.  Our dogs like it better this way though, no more cold paws.  We're enjoying our evening walks again and it feels great to get rid of all that extra energy that we've built up during the last week just staying indoors.  I tried to catch the wintry wonderland around our house by camera the other day but it never seems to justify the actual beauty.  I succeeded in getting a picture of Della too just before the cold got too intense and Della's forelegs - and my hands - were freezing...

Sinivalkoinen maailma.

Olemme saaneet nauttia kauniista talvimaisemista pitkään ja nyt kun on luvattu lämpöasteita tälle viikolle, tuntuu ikävältä.  Koirat iloitsevat kuitenkin kun ilma lämpenee ja tassut eivät palele enää.  Iltalenkit maistuvat taas ja saamme ylimääräistä energiaa pois ja kunto nousee.  Onneksi on kuvamuistot vaikka ne eivät ikinä tee oikeutta viime viikon satumaahan pihalla.  Yritys ikuistaa niitä on kuitenkin ollut hyvä ja Dellakin pääsi mukaan ennen kun pakkanen puri sen etutassuihin - ja valokuvaajan sormiin...
