22.10. Brie 6 months / Brie 6 kuukautta

No one is able to miss Brie when she's entering her training classes.  It's like the place is hit by a minor tornado.  With a heart bursting with love and a joy for life, Brie takes place and gets noticed.  It's impossible to have her neat on the leash, because at the same time Brie sees her coach, classmates and their owners, her fore legs leave the ground and my little sheepdog turns into a prancing Black Beauty.

Brie is like a package with an enormous label of love and it shows,  Brie tells the world with every part of her body how much she loves everyone that comes in her way.  She's like an electric eel, her tail is wagging, she kisses you on the mouth, bites your nose and tickles your ears with her little tongue.  Shortly, you are being attacked by a crazy piece of the finest "cheese".

How I hope to be able to keep Brie's temper like this.  It's lovely to work with a dog like her though it also demands special skills and patience to keep the package together and to prevent the dynamite from blowing up in my hands.  It's a challenge to canalize Brie's energy into the right direction and I just love challenges like this.  How I try, Brie's enthusiasm is all over the place and it is all but bad.

Kukaan ei voi olla huomaamatta kun Brie tulee harjoituksiin. Brien tulo on kuin pieni pyörremyrsky iskisi paikalle.  Sydän pakahtumaisillaan rakkautta ja elämän iloa, Brie valloittaa paikan ja tulee huomatuksi.  Brietä on mahdoton viedä kauniisti taluttimesssa, sillä samassa kun se näkee kouluttajan, luokkakaverit, ja niiden omistajat etutassut jättävät maan pinnan ja pieni sheltti muuttuu keikisteleväksi Uljaaksi Mustaksi.

Brie on täytetty suunnattomalla määrällä rakkautta ja se näkyy.  Brie kertoo koko kropallaan miten paljon pitää kaikista jotka se kohtaa.  Se on kuin sähköankerias, häntä heiluu, se antaa suudelman suulle, puree nenää ja kutittaa korvaa pienellä kielellään.  Lyhyesti, sinua kohti on hyökännyt hullu pala hienointa "juustoa".

Miten toivonkaan pystyväni säilyttämään Brien luonteen tuollaisena.  On ihana työskennellä tuollaisen koiran kanssa, vaikka se samalla vaatii myös erityistä taitoa ja kärsivällisyyttä paketin koossa pitämiseksi ja estää sitä räjähtämästä käsiin.  On haaste kanavoida Brien energia oikeaan suuntaan ja pidän juuri tällaisista haasteista.  Miten yritänkin, Brien innokkuus on kaikkialla ja se on kaikkea muuta kuin huono asia.
